If you’re planning to launch your product in a marketplace like JVZoo, in order for you to be successful, you’ll need an army of affiliates to promote your product. Obviously, the more affiliates the better. But the BIG question is… How to get them?

There are actually a bunch of ways to get more affiliates to promote your product but first, you’ll need to have a good, quality offer. The fact is, people will only promote your product if they think your product is good and can be sold easily. Now, to effectively showcase your product, you’ll need to have an effective affiliate page.

What is an Affiliate Page? In this post, we’ll be talking about what is an affiliate page and how to create a JVZoo Affiliate Page using HTML and W3.CSS Framework. For the sake of this post, I have created an affiliate page as an example. You can check the live demo of the affiliate page by clicking the button below.

If you’d like to use the template in your next product launch or project, you can download it here. Feel free to use the template in any way you’d like. Please note that you’ll need basic knowledge of HTML and CSS in order for you to edit the template.

First, let’s talk about the basic composition of an affiliate page.

Keep in mind that there is no fixed structure of creating JVZoo affiliate page. It just really depends on how you would like to present your product to your affiliates.

  1. Header
  2. Product Information
  3. Bonus Products
  4. Sales Funnel
  5. Affiliate Contest (optional)
  6. JV Tools
  7. Seller Information
  8. Footer

The Header

This is probably the most important section of your affiliate page. This is where you should place your powerful, catchy headlines. You can also include the launch date and time. Additionally, most marketers or the sellers themselves will add a short welcome video next to the headline.

Below the video should be a call-to-action button pointing them to the JVZoo Affiliate Details Page where they can get their own affiliate link.

Product Information

In this section, a complete and straightforward information of the product is ideal. You don’t need to use flowery words; just introduce your product directly to your affiliates.

If your product is a software, it should include a live video demonstration on how to use it. It would be helpful to include all the features of your product by sections. If your product is an eBook or a membership training, just simply outline the contents and list the possible topics if you can. This will give your affiliates an idea about your product.

Bonus Products

Offering some bonus items that are closely related to your product is a nice form of strategy. It adds more value to your product making your product an irresistible offer. The goal here is to make people think that they’re getting a huge deal to justify their spending.

Some bonus ideas you can give away for free:

  1. You can offer a one-on-one session with you about a certain topic
  2. You can give away your old but relevant Ebook
  3. Give access to a PLR training course of related topic

Sales Funnel

In this section of your affiliate page, you can show all the products inside your sales funnel. You can add links to their individual sales pages to let your affiliates see before hand what they actually look like and to let them gather more information about your product. In JVZoo, you don’t need to create sales funnel if you only have one product to offer.  But the thing is you’ll be missing a big opportunity if you’re not going to offer an upsell or a cross-sell product.

Affiliate Contest

If you’re launching a big product or just planning to build up a buzz, try to connect with the super affiliates or hire a JV manager and offer an affiliate contest. With affiliate contest, you get the chance to reward the top performing affiliates with a price. This will encourage them to work harder in promoting your product. The most common type of affiliate contest is to offer cash prizes. This can draw a lot of affiliates to your product. Just make sure you’re providing the necessary tools to promote you like crazy.

JV Tools

As the owner of the product, you want to make sure that you have provided all the necessary information and tools about your product to your affiliates most especially if you’re running a contest. In this section, you can give them tools like email swipes, banner ads, social media graphics or any other kinds of marketing materials. Giving them free tools will surely motivate your affiliates, helping them generate sales.

Sellers Information

If you’re just starting out and you’re still building up your profile, it’s important to introduce yourself to the people you’ll be partnering with. Include a brief description of yourself, a nice photo of you, and a contact information. You can add your Skype ID, your email or phone, or maybe your social media accounts.

Footer

In the footer, you can place legal pages like a disclaimer, privacy policy, and terms of use. These pages are all important as it is required by JVZoo. This will also protect you from legal matters in the future. If you’re using WordPress, you can use Guerrilla’s Legal Pages plugin to help you generate these pages.

So, you’d like to use the template?

The template was created using HTML and W3.CSS framework. W3.CSS is a modern CSS framework built by W3Schools. If you’re not familiar with it, you can check it here. You can compare it to Bootstrap but less complicated and easier to use.

If you’re stuck with editing the template, just comment down below or send me an email via our contact form and I will try to help. But W3Schools have created a complete documentation of the framework in their website including great examples, demos, and templates. So, I suggest just check it out before doing anything else; I bet you will learn quickly.
